Where We Have Been All Along is a composition inspired by my enjoyment of birds and an interest in placing in them in an environment of dense branches and twigs. Trees are filled with shadows and overlapping shapes. Sometimes it’s easy to see birds. Sometimes we have to look a bit harder.

Monotype collage. Rice paper hand printed with acrylic paints, fabric, screen printing. Collaged on 140# watercolor paper. Black/white double mat, opening 20”H x 16”W. Outer dimension 24”H x 20”W.
