“Midnight Transfiguration” is an abstract composition built around a strong vertical center line and a deep blue section that makes me think of deep night skies. That deep blue section and the brown-tone elements in the right half were all printed as a full-sheet monotype, leaving a rectangular space in the center. The orange-hued patterns in that section are rust-printed and resist printed on sheer polyester. Smaller elements were collaged last to create a sense of movement and change.
