Still Life Intersections with Tall Green Bottle is a composition inspired by the pleasure I find in the simple forms of bottles and jars. Intersecting these with images of branches is a chance to play with organic and inorganic forms together, and to use collage to explore transparency.

Monotype collage with screen printing; fabric and paper on raw-edge muslin. This work is a mini-artquilt, constructed of the top layer over batting and machine stitched. The work is float mounted against black in an antiqued gold frame. The frame opening 20”H x 16”W. Outer dimension 25.5”H x 21.5”W. This is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork.
