“Drawn to that Far Atmosphere” is a composition based on an above-and-below domed shape. The lower shape is filled with the positive images of leaves. The top shape is filled with the ghost-print – the opposite – of those same leaves. I was intrigued with the idea of making these shapes seem to float in an abstract sky.

Monotype collage.  Rice paper and fabric hand printed with acrylic paints, collaged to 140# watercolor paper. Black/white double mat, opening 20”H x 16”W. Outer dimension 24”H x 20”W. (Sized to fit standard size 24 x 20” frame. Frame is not included.) This is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork.
