33H x 44W  Water has a magical quality. Sitting by a body of water, looking down and through the surface is a window into imaginings. What lives beneath? What life is there, unseen from the surface?  This work began with the large liquid blue shape monoprinted on sheer fabric. From this I constructed an imaginary world below the surface using monotype printed and hand painted images.

Finishing: bound and backed with hand-painted fabric. The back has a hanging pocket and a rod, for traditional hanging tapestry presentation. The surface is sealed with acrylic medium.
