A mix of hand printing surface design techniques and a mix of sheer fabric with muslin create the sense of wintery trees through a window. I enjoy depicting trees and tree shadows. They are interesting visually and they stir emotions and memories. Most everyone had had a favorite tree or a favorite place filled with trees. Imagine looking through your window and seeing these patterned shapes.

Acrylics on fabric. Monotype printing and direct painting with archival acrylic paints. Collage construction and machine stitching and quilting. Finishing: bound and fabric-backed. The back has a hanging pocket and a rod, for traditional hanging tapestry presentation. All collaging is with archival matte acrylic medium, (which is invisible) also used over the surface for protection.
