Child-like concepts of houses appear to fly. The child is part of this event and yet separated from it. Has the child created this scene? Is it a hope or dream?

The work is created with archival acrylic paints and mediums on fabric. The images are created through a combination of monotype printing and direct painting on fabric. The figure of the girl is loosely and expressively drawn and painted on. The surface is sealed with a coating of acrylic medium.

Finishing: bound and backed with hand-painted fabric. The back has a hanging pocket and a rod, for traditional hanging tapestry presentation.

This artwork was juried into “The Alchemy of Art” show at Florida CraftArt in St. Pete, Florida and exhibited May through June, 2023.
