42"H x 34"W   This dream portrait is about contrasts. Like photographs remembered in family scrapbooks, the girl is dressed in her Sunday finest and sitting just as she should. Meanwhile, around her, the environment built from layers and textures is off kilter. Parts of a home are skewed and disjointed.

The work is created with archival acrylic paints and mediums on fabric. The images are created through a combination of monotype printing and direct painting on fabric. The figure of the girl is loosely and expressively drawn and painted on sheer fabric. The surface is sealed with a coating of acrylic medium.

Finishing: bound and backed with hand-painted fabric. The back has a hanging pocket and a rod, for traditional hanging tapestry presentation.
