In dreams, images arrange differently than in reality.  Representations of containment and flight float in an ephemeral, liquid space.  Next to this are rugged rocks and roots that suggest obstacles and unexplained forces at work.

Hand-printed monotype images on rice paper and fabric • painted fabric • acrylic paints • muslin,  polyester felt • machine stitching • collage construction with acrylic medium.

This work is finished as an art quilt: fabric bound edge and fabric backed.  It displays from a slat in a hanging pocket on the back.
