Children need to be seen. Everybody needs to be seen.

In this artwork, I am investigating the concept of growing. And what we see. At the same time that the child needs to be seen, home itself bears looking at through memory. There is a tree growing inside this house – metaphor for all that grows within a home. What are all the parts of this memory?

The work is created with archival acrylic paints and mediums on fabric, collaged and sealed with acrylic medium.

Finishing: bound and backed with hand-painted fabric. The back has a hanging pocket and a rod, for traditional hanging tapestry presentation.
